White Hot Saturday Night 2018: Your Future Awaits @ Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan
The newly renamed Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan invites you to White Hot Saturday Night 2018, the hottest party of the year, featuring live and silent auctions, music, entertainment, food, and drink. Funds raised support the critical programs and services offered to more than 55,000 people annually by the JCC. The auction is always a highlight for party-goers because 100% of the winning bids go to the JCC. This year’s auction items include a South African safari, tickets to “The Americans” season premiere and after-party, Full Frontal, and the Daily Show, hotel stays in London and Vegas, Disney World Park Hoppers, and more. 2018 event co-chairs for White Hot Saturday Night are Lisa Chajet, Susanna + Noah Schankler, and Marni + Jeremy Selman. The Rising Star Award will be presented to Sydney Kaye, a young leader credited with the creation of Community Cooks, a JCC program through which teens of all abilities (special needs and neurotypical) cook a meal together for the B’nai Jeshurun homeless shelter. Last year’s event raised more than $475,000 for scholarships ( for nursery school, camp + more); literacy + math tutoring programs for at-risk public school students; special needs programs; free fitness programs for those living with cancer or Parkinson’s disease, and social action programs.
