Opera star David Serero will perform for the Princess of Morocco Lalla Joumala in Washington D.C. on Monday, July 31st at the Organization of American States to celebrate the Feast of Throne.
David Serero was born in France before moving to New York. However, he always cherished his Moroccan origins with pride (his father was born in Morocco).
"Her Majesty Lalla Joumala lives in the heart of every Moroccan and is a symbol of modernity and peace. To sing in Washington DC, the capital of the United States for the Princess of Morocco, the country of my ancestors, for the Feast of Throne celebration which is the most important holiday in Morocco, fills me with infinite gratitude" said Serero.
David Serero will also perform an open-air concert in Washington D.C. on October 1st, 2017 for the closing of the "Morocco Gate of Africa Festival" where thousands of people are expected.
